About Traveling with Pozzitrac

Traveling with Pozzitrac started with a simple idea: get out, explore, and take the camera along. What began with my Jeep and the places it took me has grown into something broader—traveling the back roads by Jeep and motorcycle, rediscovering my passion for photography, and documenting the interesting places I find along the way.

I’ve been interested in photography for years, with subjects ranging from nature and wildlife to trains, bridges, historic churches, cemeteries, architecture, landscapes, and the places that catch my attention while traveling. I’ve also attended photography workshops around the country, including programs in Colorado and Maine, and I’m now getting back behind the camera with a Canon EOS 70D.

One of the subjects that has always drawn my camera: bridges, back roads, and the places discovered along the way.

Pozzitrac isn’t about rushing from one tourist destination to another. It’s about the road between them—the small towns, old structures, railroad tracks, forgotten places, scenery, and unexpected discoveries that make you stop, turn around, and take a photograph. Sometimes I’ll be traveling by motorcycle, sometimes by Jeep, and sometimes the destination itself is simply something I want to photograph.

This site is where I’ll share those travels, photographs, stories, Jeep projects, motorcycle adventures, and whatever interesting things I discover down the next road.
